Jason Harwig, a software developer in Chicago, IL US, started Pine Point Software in November 2007 to sell Mac and later iOS software. Currently, Jason is a senior software engineer employed by Near Infinity Corporation (now Altamira Technologies Corporation), located in Reston, VA US.

About the name

The name Pine Point refers to the property name of a family-owned cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is at this property where much of the vision and actual code are crafted in the peacefulness of the north woods.
